DESCRIPTION

Faropenem is an antibiotic used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It treats Urinary Tract Infection and Respiratory Infection. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis which is essential for bacterial growth. Hence, it helps in killing the bacteria responsible for the infection.

INDICATIONS AND USES

Faroplus 200 Tablets are indicated in the treatment ofUrinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, Ear, nose and throat (ENT) infections etc.

DOSAGE

The recommended dosage of Faropenem is 200 mg thrice daily.

CONTRAINDICATION

If you are allergic to faropenem or similar medicines and If you are allergic to other antibiotics like penicillin, cephalosporins, monobactams, carbapenems.
