DESCRIPTION

Febuxostat is a non-purine analog XO inhibitor, which is used to treat hyperuricemia in GOUT.

INDICATIONS AND USAGE

Febuxostat is used in the treatment/management of chronic hyperuricemia in GOUT.

DOSAGE

The recommended dose of FEBUPLUS (Febuxostat 40 mg Tablets) is 1-4 tablets per day.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Lactose intolerant patients should be given febuxostat with precaution.

Patients treated with azathioprine or mercaptopurine should not be given febuxostat.
