ODZY VIT (MULTI VITAMIN INJECTION)

PRESENTATION

ODZY VIT is available as a multivitamin injection in a 2 ml Ampoule.

DESCRIPTION

ODZY VIT contains water-soluble vitamins i.e. 

Niacinamide (Vit B3) which helps the body use sugars and fatty acids, helps body cells produce energy and helps enzymes function in the body, can be made from the amino acid tryptophan.

Pyridoxine (Vit B6) which helps the body make protein, which is then used to make cells, also helps make red blood cells; changes tryptophan (an amino acid) into niacin.

Folic Acid (Vit B9) helps in the formation, maturation and multiplication of red blood cells.

Methylcobalamin (Vit B12) helps body cells produce energy and helps metabolize protein, fat and carbohydrates in food.

INDICATIONS AND USAGE

ODZY VIT injection is indicated in patients suffering from essential water-soluble vitamins de Hemodialysis. It is also prescribed in the treatment of Hyperhomocysteinemia in ESRD.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Recommendation of vitamins for CKD patients

Methylcobalamin (Vit B12) 500 - 1000 mg/day

Pyridoxine  (Vit B6) 10 mg/day (Patient on dialysis) 5 mg/day (Patient not on dialysis)

Niacinamide (Vit B3) 18-20 mg/day (Both dialysis & non Dialysis)

Folic Acid (Vit B9) 1.0 mg/day supplement recommended for CKD

ODZY VIT injection is for IV/IM use.
