DESCRIPTION

Sucroferric Oxyhydroxide is non-calcium, iron-based, chewable phosphate binder that prevents and treats high phosphorus levels in people with kidney disease. It works by lowering the amount of phosphorus your body absorbs from food.

INDICATION AND USAGE

Sucroferric Oxyhydroxide is indicated for the control of serum phosphorus levels in patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis.

DOSAGE

The recommended starting dose of Sucroxy is 3 tablets (1,500 mg) per day administered as 1 tablet (500 mg) 3 times daily with meals.

CONTRAINDICATION

Before taking Sucroferric Oxyhydroxide, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
